Are vitamins a substitute for good nutrition?

Vitamins are not a substitute for good nutrition. For some good vitamin and supplement ideas try these.

A good principle to follow is to eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.

Many of the health problems today have their root in what people eat, how much sleep a person gets, what exercise is a person involved in. Check your eating habits, how much sleep (your body needs rest to refresh itself), and how much exercise are you getting?

Sure your body is not getting all it needs from the food we eat, so supplement your good nutrition with vitamins.

For sleep issues try Fast2Sleep, it helps you get faster and more restful sleep, and plus it’s done naturally.

I read a good book recently called “What would Jesus Eat?” by Dr. Colbert (I don’t remember his first name, something like Don). It was a great book, lots of good ideas to eating. If you are pressed for time, and have to eat out a lot, then one of the recommendations is to eat Mediterranean. We have to eat out a bit and try frequent the noodle house (Thai food) or Mediterranean. If we need to eat a fast food, try Taco Cabana or Subway. Taco Cabana has the rice and pinto beans in their family platter (not the refried beans) and Subway has a “fresh” selection (“eat fresh”), and not all the fat and grease of a hamburger and fries. Try to include fish in your diet, like the fresh pollock fish from Alaska. Somewhere where the fish that are caught can eat food from the sea and not farm-raised.
