Video – Flu Shot Information

There has been alot of hype going around about getting the flu shot since the season is changing and we are headed to winter. I saw a flyer at the job and then I saw some other advertisements at the pediatrician’s office. So, should you or should you not get the flu shot.

Well I personally don’t get it. So many folks complain about getting sick after they get the shot so I don’t. Come to find out, the flu shot contains the flu virus. This actually makes you sick. You have to take a look at this video. It has a lot of good information on the flu shot and why you should not get it.

This video is called “Why You Don’t Want to Get a Flu Shot”

The flu shot is loaded with toxic material like the heavy metal Mercury. You can use “Natural Cellular Defense” to remove the toxins from your system. Other harmful substances include ethylene glycol, aluminum, and phenol.

What do you do to raise your body’s Vitamin D intake.

1. Get sunlight exposure (around 30 minutes worth a day). This is the least costly.
2. Get exposure to ultraviolet light. A safe tanning bed. (see this site for details
(since the tanning beds I saw cost between $1300 and $1800, I don’t think most will buy one.)
3. Take Vitamin D supplements. (This costs way less than the tanning bed)

Vitamin D has been known for its positive effectiveness in killing off the flu virus. One of the best sources of vitamin D, is sun exposure. Interestingly the potential for getting the flu normally in stronger in the winter when we are not in the sun as often.

Vitamin D dosage?

The dosage for children is 2,000 IU’s a day for children.
Between 4,000 and 10,000 IU’s a day for adults depending on your weight.

***If you weigh around 300+ pounds you will be closer to the 10,000 IU dosage, and if you are a more normal weight(around the 100 lb), you’ll be around the 4,000 to 5,000 IU dosage.

The best food sources are found in fortified milk and cereals, eggs, salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines. (Unfortunately, most fortified foods provide vitamin D2, a form which is less well utilized by the body than D3.) To make sure you get adequate amounts of vitamin D, take a daily supplement of 1,000 mg of D3.

Here’s where you can get great quality vitamins for less:

Click here for the 5,000 IU type.
*Around 6 months supply for $10.20! (+ around $2 for s/h)

Click here for the 1,000 IU type.
*Around 6 months supply for $6.09! (+ around $2 for s/h)

Here is a liquid form of Vitamin D3 you can use for yourself and your children, Click Here. It’s just $8.06 for a little over 30 days worth. Just reading the reviews makes you want to get some.

As you may or may not know, liquid vitamins are better assimilated and used faster and more efficiently by your body.

If you already have the flu or know someone who does, you can take oral Vitamin D in large doses.

This dose is a lot. Here is the calculation:

2000 IUs of vitamin D per kg of body weight. Divide your weight in lbs by 2.2 to get the kgs and then multiply by 2000 to get your Vitamin D dose.

So if you weigh 170 lbs (I am using myself as an example), here is the formula:
170 / 2.2 = 77kg. 77kg x 2000= 154,000 IUs

This a large amount!

Take 1 dose everyday for 3 days, and try to do it in the earlier stages of the illness.

Regarding the vitamins, get yours at iHerb.com. You are going to save $5 on your first purchase (if you use code RIK828 at checkout), and you are going to save when you buy again. Even though you have to wait around 3 days for your order, you don’t have to drive to the health food store (they deliver it to you door), and you’re probably going to save your money on that item anyway.
