Dr. Mercola answers the question in this video post about what to do if you are forced to have a mandatory flu vaccine for the swine flu.

His aim is to put the public at ease about the swine flu. Fear actually worsens a person’s response to disease so his goal is for everyone to relax.

Let us look at the evidence. The CDC, the government, and the media have been trying to create a massive fear, and frequently was is used to accomplish this is a reference to the 1918 flu pandemic where millions of people died.

These casualties and magnitude brought about by the 1918 flu pandemic cannot happen again nearly a century later. Why?
Most of the people who died during that flu pandemic did not die from the flu, but died from complications of the flu, primarily pneumonia. This pandemic happened before 1920 when the modern hospital was instituted. Also before intravenous fluid replacement and antibiotics.

In adults, the people with immune dysfunctions such as diabetes, heart failure, cardiovascular diseases, and asthma are those who are predisposed to complications if the virus is contracted.

Overall, if you combine flu and swine flu deaths this season are lower than the past 2 or 3 seasons.

So what is there to be afraid about?

The virus uproar is a justification for the government to spend 10s of billions of dollars (See this article) to mandate a public vaccination. These vaccines are untested for this “non” epidemic.

If you’re forced to take the vaccination, here is the doctor’s recommendation:

1. After taking the shot, use a cold compress on the site of the injection.

This reduces the amount of the swelling and inflammation.

2. Make sure you are taking plenty of good Omega 3 fats.

3. Stay away from trans fats

Pay attention to the oils you are ingesting. Stay away from those trans fats and heated fats. Stay away from the garbage Omega 6 oils, like corn oil and peanut oil. Avoid canola oil, which is Omega 9. Use a high quality oil (see this) because that is a key to optimizing your immune system.

6. Zinc
7. Iron
Watch your iron intake. Iron, taken in excess, impairs the immune system.

Selenium as well as the B-vitamins are really important.

9. Magnesium

Magnesium is very important to having an optimized immune response.

10. Vitamin D

Avoid fish containing mercury as well as silver, amalgam, fillings. Mercury is a heavy metal, use this to rid the heavy metals from your system.
